The International Association of Bridge, Structural, Ornamental & Reinforcing Iron Workers recognizes many of our members and their families are veterans. The Iron Workers strongly feel that no one who has served our country in the military should be homeless. Therefore, the International Association of Bridge, Structural, Ornamental & Reinforcing Iron Workers is endorsing H.R. 5823 and requesting all members of Congress co-sponsor this legislation to amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to allow taxpayers to designate a portion of their income tax payment to provide assistance to the homeless veterans, and for other purposes.
