General Organizer Gordon Struss, president of the Iron Workers district Council of the North Central States, was appointed general vice president on April 9, 2001.
Previous positions held by Struss include financial secretary of the Minnesota State Building Trades, vice president of the Minnesota AFL-CIO Executive Council, Ironworkers’ LU and DC Pension Plan Advisory Committee member, and director of the Union Bank and Trust Company.
Struss, and his wife Jackie, have two children, two grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
